About New Hope Elementary School
New Hope Elementary school is a new public charter school coming to the Lowcountry of South Carolina. This will be a FREE public school with state certified teachers for students in K-5th grade. The school is planned to open in the 2020-2021 school year and will serve the communities of Jasper, Hampton and Allendale.
Bus transportation will be available for students along with breakfast, lunch and snacks. The school will participate in the USDA School Breakfast Program (SBP) and National School Lunch Program (NSLP) that provides FREE and reduced meals for those students that qualify.
An onsite day care facility will be available to parents of students with children ages 0-3 years old. A preschool K-4 program will be available for those children that will soon start kindergarten for a nominal fee.
A before/after school program will be available for those students that need early drop-off in the morning or late pick-up in the afternoon. When school is not in session, we will offer a day camp program. During the summer months a full-day summer camp will be available to the community.
Meet The Planning Committee
Teacher in Hampton District One for 33 years having taught 1st & 2nd grade math, science and social studies. Tamra 4 times was chosen by her colleagues to represent her school as Teacher-of-the-Year.
A 1st grade teacher who is certified in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. Stacy has taught for 17 years and has her Master's in Divergent Learning along with being National Board Certified.
After spending 25 years as the creative director at Palmetto Health, Tim struck out on his own and starter Tim Floyd Creative. His company helps other companies with clear messaging and design. Tim is an award-winning artist.
Born and raised in Allendale where he directed the ESOL program for the Allendale County school system. Tony has served in the U.S. Army and currently teaches at Denmark-Olar Elementary School.
Randy is co-founder of Legacy Financial Solutions, a financial planning firm. He most recently served as corporate treasurer for the SC District Assemblies of God. He is a Master Registered Financial Consultant and graduate of Clemson University.
Adriano is the owner of Castra Rota Foods, Ltd. located in Hampton and serves on the Hampton County Planning Commission. He was born in Germany and became a US citizen in 2011. Adriano received his M.A. degree from the College of Economics in Schwabisch Germany.
A kindergarten teacher in the Jasper County School District where she has taught for 23 years. Lori has a BS in Elementary Education and a Master of Science in Reading and Literacy.
Robert is a retired SCDOT engineer and currently serves as a life coach pursuing his certification as a Professional Mastery Coach. For 20 years, Robert served as Field Ministry Representative with Campus Crusade.
Sandy has worked over 10 years in nonprofit organizations in various financial positions and 12 years working with childcare facilities. For the past 18 years, Sandy has worked in a physician's office where she serves as the office supervisor.
